My Grandmother used to call it her orange surprise. Before she died she used to bring it to all of our family functions. It was her favorite recipe.
1 carton cottage cheese
1 package orange jello
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 8 ounce cool whip
Mix jello into cottage cheese. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill in the refrigerator.
If you like cheese cheese you will like this recipe. It is a great dessert if you are having a cookout. It may not sound like it is going to taste good, but after it gets chilled and you taste it, you will change your mind. All the ingredients set up so good it tastes great.
